Busy Brains Maths Club at Fair Field Junior School
Come and join us at Busy Brains for lots of practical, fun, confidence building, engaging and educational maths activities and challenges!
The club takes place straight after school and lasts for one hour. 3.10 – 4.10pm
Sessions start on Thursday 28th April and finish on Thursday 7th July 2022. NO SESSIONS on 27th May or during half term.
Excellent value for money at only ÂŁ7.00 per session!
COVID-19 procedures still in place.  Maximum of 15 pupils per session.
Each week will involve being busy with different maths topics:
- Busy Numbers – place value, partitioning, ordering numbers, counting in multiples
- Busy Addition & Subtraction – mental and written addition and subtraction
- Busy Multiplication & Division– times tables, fact families, written methods
- Busy Fractions – ordering, adding and subtracting, fractions of amounts
- Busy Measurement– shape and space, money and time, perimeter
- Busy Statistics – tables, bar charts and pictograms
