DESCRIPTION:Come and join Busy Brains Bear for lots of practical\, fun\, confidence building\, engaging and educational maths activities and challenges!\n \nThe club takes place straight after school and lasts for one hour.\n \nEach week will involve being busy with different maths topics: \n\nBusy Numbers – counting\, place value\, partitioning\, comparing numbers\nBusy Adding – addition language\, pictorial and concrete methods \nBusy Subtracting – subtraction language\, pictorial and concrete methods\nBusy Bankers – problem solving with money\, real life experiences\nBusy Builders – shape\, space and measures\nBusy Reasoning – practical problem solving involving all 4 operations\n\n  \nAll sessions are delivered by experienced qualified teachers who have enhanced DBS checks and are paediatric first aid trained.
