Busy Brains Maths Club at St John’s School
Come and join Busy Brains Bear for lots of practical, fun, confidence building, engaging and educational maths activities and challenges!
The club takes place straight after school and lasts for one hour.
Sessions start on Monday 25th April and finish on Monday 11th July 2022. NO SESSIONS on 23rd May or during half term week.
Excellent value for money at only £7.00 per session!
Each week will involve being busy with different maths topics:
- Busy Numbers – counting, place value, partitioning, comparing numbers
- Busy Adding – addition language, pictorial and concrete methods
- Busy Subtracting – subtraction language, pictorial and concrete methods
- Busy Bankers – problem solving with money, real life experiences
- Busy Builders – shape, space and measures
- Busy Reasoning – practical problem solving involving all 4 operations
